AGAPE UNIVERSITY

Course Completion – Refund Requests – Policy – Procedure

COURSE COMPLETION

Credit will be given to a student for having completed an Agape University course based upon the following factors: the student’s attendance, class participation and completion of all payments. Students are expected to participate fully in class. Each instructor will determine and communicate what full participation is for each particular class. Attendance is taken during each class (Agape University courses meet once per week). Students are expected to sign in on the official class roster. This roster is the instrument used to verify a student’s attendance.

In order to earn course credit, there are three factors to consider: meeting the attendance requirement; participating fully in the course (as determined by the instructor); and completion of all necessary payments. It is the student’s responsibility to keep his/her attendance record accurate by signing the official class roster before class begins. Each class meeting is progressive and every class builds on the previous class. In addition, many classes will involve very intricate experiential exercises and processes that cannot be replicated if the students misses that class. For this reason the following attendance policy is in place.

Students enrolled in a 3-week or 5-week course are expected to attend all class sessions in order to receive credit. Students enrolled in an 8-week or 10-Week Class will be allowed to miss one class session without penalty. However, students are encouraged to attend all class sessions if at all possible to receive the maximum transformational benefit from the class.

Students are encouraged to participate fully in the class by the timely completion of growth work assignments, sharing in large and small group dialogues, asking questions and engaging in the activities as assigned by the instructor. (Growth work is designed to reveal, to expand, and to develop untapped areas of your mental, emotional, and spiritual self. Through growth work, done earnestly and sincerely, students discover a deepening and expansion of consciousness leading to a more self-realized individual, unified with all of Life, and ready to activate the unique gifts and talents lying within. Growth work varies from course to course, and each instructor will provide the necessary details and expectations.)

Professional Practitioner Studies

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Professional Practitioner?  What do they do?  A professional Practitioner is a licensed spiritual counselor who has answered the call to put God first and foremost in his/her life. An Agape Practitioner has engaged in a rigorous consciousness building process which includes specific studies that apply to and prepare the student for advanced participation in spiritual community. The principles of New Thought Ageless Wisdom are the foundation of this training which is intended to develop skills associated with the art of spiritual counseling, community building and spiritual leadership.  This specific course of study allows the student to recognize the power of consciousness and understand Universal Spiritual Principles which, when applied in earnest, can uplift, heal and provide comfort to those who come to him or her for prayer and spiritual counseling. An Agape Practitioner turns first to prayer and meditation as spiritual technology in healing and counseling others. A Practitioner holds the confidence of clients sacred and inviolate. In the law, a Practitioner is recognized as the first level of the clergy, and has privileges of non-disclosure of confidential communications made during counseling sessions, except where such disclosure is mandated by law.
